Birmingham has gone Smokefree!

Posted April 17th, 2012

Similar to Martin Elliott’s platform for his mayoral candidacy, the Birmingham City Council wants all of Birmingham to stay well too!  On today, April 17, 2012, the City Council voted 8-0, passing new anti-smoking laws which will ban smoking in most public areas.

Congratulations to our partners,  Jefferson County Health Action Partnership, Champions for Health for all of our efforts.  On behalf of everyone at Media for Health, we appreciate being apart of the media campaign to share “The Right to Breathe Clean Air” story through Camberwell.
